HST has implemented a system for testing products to customer standards. The 10,000 sq.ft. electronic laboratory has 62 work centers capable of thermal testing from -25c to 200c and has 703 other dedicated testing assets. Each station has a generic set of equipment, plus added specialty equipment depending upon the product being tested. All equipment is maintained and calibrated annually, traceable to NIST standards. All technicians have undergone a ninety hour (4 1/2) month training course, covering basic electronics through advanced troubleshooting techniques. Technicians are highly capable of troubleshooting to component level. A condition for employment is a 75% or better grade in the course, which is documented via written test. We feel our technicians are second to none in the industry.
